Isolina Calvo launched her brand Siolaz in May 2022, a success story of business entrepreneurship and commitment to digital commerce

After 35 years dedicated to the world of esthetics and cosmetics, in 2022 Isolina Calvo made one of her dreams come true: to create her own line of skin care products. "In the pandemic, when we had to stop working, that's when I said: it's time to test and create Siolaz," she explains. In her words, Siolaz is a brand created for time-poor women, like her, with the goal of giving them an effective skincare routine.

Siolaz Alta Cosmética Natural is a brand "proudly Galician, as the Galician that they are, and of Spanish manufacture," he explains. It is a line of its own formulation and the result of "many years of research and testing with active ingredients". The range includes, among other products, facial cream, body cream, sunscreen, make-up remover and bath gel. "It is a different alternative designed for Galician and Spanish women to have healthy skin in a very short time, so it has a high concentration of active ingredients, such as elastin, collagen and calendula extract, among others," she says.

Digital is a fundamental channel for the entire project and, in fact, Siolaz was one of the beneficiary companies of the line of support from the Xunta de Galicia for the digital transformation and modernization of the commercial and artisanal sector. "For us the website is our main sales channel. We are working to boost it and improve it as part of the strategy we rely on and on our social networks offering our customers and followers valuable information to take care of the skin and to simplify personal care routines." Along with the internet, its products are also marketed in its own salons in Guitiriz and Betanzos, as well as in other Galician salons in Santiago and Lugo, always with a view to continue growing and expanding the brand to other markets.

The products are designed for all ages, but especially for women over 30 years old, with the aim of simplifying steps and achieving that, with the same product, several skin needs can be solved at the same time and not the other way around: having to use many products for the same thing.

For the future, she plans to continue promoting the brand. "I would love to reach all Galician women and let them see that it is possible to maintain healthy skin in a short time," she concludes.
