MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIR SHOPS
This catalogue includes the necessary procedures to carry out the industrial activity and the provision of services of repair workshops for motor vehicles and their equipment and components as the only agents providing services with the capacity to maintain and repair them.
Establishments in which operations are carried out to restore the normal state and functioning of motor vehicles or their equipment and components, where alterations to these conditions appear after the end of their production, will be considered to be car repair workshops.
The beginning of the services activity is liberalised, thus, to be able to begin providing the services, it will only be necessary that the natural or legal person requests, through the procedures enabled for this purpose in the electronic office of the Xunta de Galicia, the inscription of the workshop, by submitting a statement of compliance, and of the related facilities subject the specific legislation of industrial security, by means of a communication.
Once this process has been completed, the activity may be carried out, which does not exempt from compliance with other matters related to the regulatory and sectoral reference framework.
