PETROL STATIONS
This catalogue is aimed at detailing the procedure required for the implementation and commissioning of retail distribution facilities for liquid oil products. Supply to vehicles.
The retail distribution activity will comprise at least one of the following activities:
- The supply of fuels and motor fuels to vehicles in facilities authorised for this purpose.
- The supply to fixed facilities for consumption on the premises.
- The supply of kerosene for aviation use.
- The supply of fuels to vessels.
- Any other supply for the consumption of these products.
This catalogue focuses on projects whose purpose is the supply of fuels and motor fuels to vehicles in facilities authorised for this purpose, such as service stations and supply units, which are governed by Decree 45/2015, of 26 March.
An integrated procedure is established by which the promoters may, through the competent body for the instruction and resolution, access information on all the formalities necessary for the implementation of the facilities and the exercise of the activity, as well as their performance, including the statements and applications necessary to obtain the required authorisations and licences.
Royal Decree 2487/1994, of 23 December, on the Regulatory statute for wholesale distribution and retail distribution activities to fixed facilities of petroleum fuels by means of direct supplies.
Decree 45/2015, of 26 March, which regulates the integrated procedure for the implementation of facilities for the retail distribution of oil products and their start-up, and determines the competent bodies for the exercise of sanctioning powers with regard to hydrocarbons.
